Dr. Judith Solomon received her bachelor of arts degree in psychology from the University of Illinois. She completed her Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) degree from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1992 and her internship year at Botsford General Hospital in Farmington Hills Michigan in 1993. She went on to complete her neurology residency at Midwestern University's teaching hospital, Olympia Fields Regional Medical Center in Olympia Fields, IL, in 1996, and a fellowship in clinical neurophysiology at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, IL, in 1997. After completing her fellowship, she began her career at the Midwestern University's teaching hospital as an associate professor of neurology until 1999, when she relocated to Phoenix, Arizona, to continue in private practice.
Judith L. Solomon, D.O., is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Neurology and Psychiatry. She is an adult neurologist, fellowship trained in EEG and EMG testing. Her treatment population includes ages 16 and older. She evaluates and treats many neurological disorders including epilepsy, movement disorders and Parkinson's disease, tremor, stroke, headache disorders, neuropathic pain disorders, peripheral neuropathy, radiculopathy, spasticity secondary to disorders of the brain or spinal cord, multiple sclerosis, and dementia.
Dr. Solomon is a member of many regional and national medical societies, including the American Academy of Electrodiagnostic Medicine, the American Academy of Osteopathy, the Arizona State Osteopathic Association, the American Academy of Neurology, the American Osteopathic Association, and the American College of Neuropsychiatry
